Music Study Grants are scholarships for payment of private lessons. They are available for instrumental instruction only (excluding keyboards).
Music Study Grants for 2017 have closed. The next round of grants will be announced in the fall of 2017.

Qualifications: Student must be at least 12 years of age or have at least one year of previous music study, and be participating in a public school music program. The student must demonstrate a financial need and reside in one of the counties served by MEAP. (Oregon: Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, Washington, Yamhill, Multnomah, Clackamas, Marion, Linn, Hood River, Wasco, Lincoln; Washington: Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania, Klickitat, and Lewis)
Deadline for submission TBA. Please be sure to include all information requested since your application may be disqualified if you do not!

MEAP Music Project Grant Programs These are grants to members of Local 99 for in-school performances and music education projects.
Applications will be considered only if the project takes place within Local 99 jurisdiction. The project must take place outside of the school’s curriculum and has been approved by the school’s teacher. Presenters should be members of AFM Local 99.
